Full day sails. Leaving from Friday Harbor we rode the back eddy to Turn Point and met the J16’s who were traveling south at speed. We both caught the ebb to Kellett and continued the San Juan Westside shoreline with brief stops for foraging. Barbecued supper for us at Whale Rocks and north to Orcas Island on the sunset flood. Half our guests departed at Orcas, while we continued into the twilight fringed rain clouds. A thrilling and varied day on the water. Every day is different. Every day is spectacular.
