Sailed south to witness the “Humpback Comeback”. Drifting in the deep blue we were mesmerized with the deep breaths of these gentle giants. Waving their pectoral flippers, lunge feeding, fluking. Being in their presence is an experience like no other. We returned by way of Eagle Point meeting the L12’s. Once again we encountered a Southern Resident (L119) in the mysterious behavior of interacting with a dead harbor porpoise. One can only wonder the meaning. Another memorable day.
