Sail with J22s, K14s and J16s

Aug 11th – West side shuffle for us. After meeting the J22’s who were hanging in False Bay we proceeded north to sail around the island. Porpoising towards us from Kellett Bluff out of the blue we were surprised by the K14’s and J16’s with others spread across the Strait. So we shuffled south with them to False Bay as we were excited to see K Pod for our first time since we saw them in Johnstone Strait October last year. Fast travel with brief stops for foraging. Families split over a wide area. We left them at Eagle Pt and found a lot more sea lions have now returned to Whale Rocks – welcome home guys !
