Aug 23rd – L pod surfs container ship wake. We just arrived to meet a large tight group of L’s drifting slowly off Java Rocks when the peace and tranquility was broken by the passing of a large container ship. Lines of whales speeding the face of the wave leaving trails of spray from their dorsal fin tips surfing the endless wake. Incredible!
