All Aboard Sailing

Eagle City, Long Island

Spring is on hold but the winds were light so we headed South on the ebb to explore Whale Rocks and the Islands South of Lopez. Into the world of Seals and Sea Lions but the rulers of the land were the Bald Eagles. Never seen so many eagles – Long Island (not Long Island New York) immatures and adults clustered on rocks and trees and what appeared to be mating behaviour – a busy world – though we were the only human beings. We love sailing all year.
