May 9th, 2017 – Pointing into light winds we made good progress North with a stop in Deer Harbor. Becalmed in the Doldrums of Bare Rock and Skipjack Island. Perfect Barbequed supper drifting on a mirror pond reflecting a painted sky of fast expanse hanging above Boundary Pass which separates the US and Canada. Johns Pass to New Channel and fire lit the sky as the sun sank into the horizon.
