September 2nd 2017 We sailed South through Cattle Pass and circumnavigated San Juan Island. Took New Channel and met Transient orca family T65As hunting near Cowlitz Bay, Waldron Island. Surprised Loon surfacing and calling near to the Orcas. Osprey in sunset light of Wasp Pass on the Shaw Island side. Perfect full day sailing with wildlife, whales and sunshine.
