September 13th 2017 .L pod southbound in San Juan Channel, a sight rarely seen. Many breaches one after the other. So much excitement they were breaching like popcorn as they neared Cattle Pass . In Haro Strait, the L12 subgroup was approaching to meet the L pod members as they rounded the southern tip of San Juan Island. 29 orcas in all.
