Biggs/Transient Orcas T123’s in President Channel

June 12, 2025 – With a report of Biggs Orcas of the T123s hunting in Spieden Channel we took advantage of of a brisk Southerly breeze and flood current to sail a beam reach North at a nice clip. Nearing Green Point and the orcas were on the move. We wrapped around Flattop to Gull Rock and proceeded East towards Orcas Island on a zig zag curse. Some lovely views as they continued along the Orcas Island shoreline of Presidents Channel passed the head of Turtleback Mountain and Lovers Cove. Leaving the Orcas we hugged the shoreline on our return enjoying the forest views. Cutting through the Wasp Islands and a beautiful sunset sail home.
