July 10, 2025 – After casting off we headed north with a gentle sail up the channel. A family of orcas had circumnavigated San Juan Island and were southbound towards Friday Harbor. The orcas were T75 and 34 year old son, T75A, and her 27 year old daughter, T75C, with her offspring T75C3. We had stunning views as they came down the San Juan Island shoreline with backlit blows. They actually went into Friday Harbor before continuing on their way down towards Cattle Pass. A very pretty evening.
