Minke whale on Salmon Bank

July 15, 2025 – We had a fun sail south passing harbor seals with newborn pups, black oystercatchers foraging and a pair of bald eagles by Deadman Island. After watching the sea lions at Whale Rocks we made our way out to Salmon Bank. We found a minke whale (aka “Dent”) milling and doing some foraging. She gave us some great views!  It was a beautiful day!
