Good wind in Haro Strait gave us a broad reach to Mandarte Island where we met northbound orcas, T124C and T49C, two males traveling together. We sailed parallel north to Moresby Island. Interesting to see them traveling close before parting ways two days later – as can be the way with transients. We parted ways to sail to Lover’s Leap and met a deer migrating islands via Haro Strait. Always something different.
