Today is the big day! Captains David and Barbara are getting married! The ceremony took place at Spring Street Landing in Friday Harbor aboard our sailboat “Peniel”. Family and friends gathered on the dock to watch us exchange our vows and tie the knot. Following our wedding ceremony we headed to Lime Kiln Point State Park for a relaxing picnic, and the whales showed up right on time. Perfection. Our good friend Erin Corra with F.O.L.K.S. invited us to the top of the lighthouse to celebrate. Before our dinner reception we sailed away aboard Peniel to get some amazing photographs as the sun set. Our photographer Alan Niles was fantastic. Alas, it was time for dinner and the best part of the day… time to enjoy our special wedding cake with blown glass orca toppers made locally by Crisanti Glass. It was the best wedding ever! 🙂
