Humpback and orcas

July 7, 2017 – Sunset/Moonrise sail. A humpback whale known as Divot visits Friday Harbor. T49As took us to Mandarte Island cormorant rookery. But the most exciting thing of the season was sailing past Gooch Island and finding a pair of black oyster catchers with the cutest chick imaginable. Spectacular mares tails clouds like we’ve never seen. Sailed home on a path lit by the full moon.
