July 29, 2017 – We sailed north out of Friday Harbor on a journey to intercept a humpback whale. Luckily the humpback known as BCY0532 aka “Graze” was swimming quickly down Presidents Channel to meet us halfway. Together we made our way towards the San Juan Island shoreline before turning back north and changing course into Spieden Channel. Backlit blows filled the air. It was a great time with the whale. We continued our journey spotting many eagles and seals along the way.
