September 23, 2022 – Today we picked up our passengers at Roche Harbor. We dodged raindrops as we came across Spieden Channel to Sentinel Island. Harbor seals didn’t seem too worried at the light mist and Rams of the Mouflon Sheep were assuring their positions on the hillside. In New Channel we peacefully drifted passed great blue heron and under the watchful eyes of bald eagles along the forested shoreline. We also saw Steller sea lions cruising in the channel. Southbound we came passed Jones Island and through the Wasp Islands and crossed the channel under sail back to Friday Harbor.
