July 14, 2026 – A sail south to Salmon Bank where we saw a pair of humpback whales identified as BCX1856 ‘Honu’ and 2025 calf of humpback whale ‘Smiley’ BCY0995. Other wildlife seen included black oystercatcher, bald eagles, harbor seals with pups, Steller sea lions, cormorants, gulls with chicks, and a sea otter
