Sailing North to Speiden Channel we met the T60 family of Transient, or Bigg’s, Orcas. Folks staying at Lonesome Cove Resort witnessed the family as they hunted harbor seals. A humpback whale between us and Flattop Island moved quickly North while the Ts went South. Inside McNeil Island cruising down San Juan Channel passing the Port of Friday Harbor to visit the Harbor seals on high alert at Turn Island. A little chilly today as we left the orcas heading out to sea through Cattle Pass.
