Transient Orcas the T65A’s at Canoe Island

July 31, 2016 – We were headed out of Cattle Pass to meet Residents J’s and L’s when we received the call of Transients at Lopez ferry terminal. Doubling back we met the T65A’s at Canoe Island. They hugged the Shaw Island shoreline hunting each nook and cranny. It was clear from the gull activity that they were successful near Yellow Island. We sailed home as they crossed the channel.
