Morning short sail

May 31, 2019 – Beautiful way to start a day with a short morning sail. Wing on wing on a moderate breeze we cruised up San Juan Channel. We tacked through the maze of islands off Shirt Tail Reef circling Low Island saying hi to the harbor seals. Circling Yellow Island admiring wildflowers through binoculars. Close to shore of Little McConnell with it’s Juniper trees and tacking around Bird Rock. We cut through the narrow pass of Coon Island before catching a stiff breeze for a close hauled fast sail south.
