Sailing with Transient Orcas T60s with T2B and T59 from Sidney Island to D’Arcy

North through the Wasp islands, Spring Pass, Flattop Island and into New Channel. Making good time wit the ebb current we crossed Haro Strait into Canada. We met the T60s family of Transient Orcas with T2B and T59 near Sidney Island. They were quite playful while traveling with tail slaps and pec fin slaps and swimming on their backs. New calf T60G was full of energy. We left them at D’Arcy Island and sailed North to visit the Cormorant rookeries of Mandarte island. A good sail back across Haro Strait for supper in New Channel and to visit the Cactus Islands before sailing home.
