April 4, 2021 – The goal was to have a relaxing sail – mission accomplished! Drifting through New Channel is always pretty special. It was here that we found dueling bald eagles. Their shenanigans including free falling with locked talons, high pitched calls, and multiple swoops down to the water.
Sailing in the intense currents and whirlpools near Green Point while watching the Steller sea lions was a highlight of the day. We finished off our day with a pair of river otters running up the hillside of McConnell Island.
