Biggs/Transient orcas T37A’s in Boundary Pass

July 24, 2021 – A sail north through the Wasp Islands, Spring Pass and up to White Rock National Wildlife Refuge. We encountered a family of Biggs/Transient orcas known as the T37A’s as they traveled near Waldron Island. We left them to check out another National Wildlife Refuge, Skipjack Island – one of our favorite islands and got a view of Bare Island before catching up with the orcas again in Boundary Pass. Changed course to head over to Patos Island and Sucia Island before heading southwest to hug the Orcas shoreline down Presidents Channel. Back down through Spring Pass and a nice sail across San Juan Channel.
