Full day sail with wildlife galore

July 3, 2025 – Today we had a full day sail to some amazing places with fun wildlife sightings: At Low Island we spotted black oystercatchers with two chicks, found a Steller sea lion in President Channel, cruised along the coastline of Orcas Island to Lovers Cove, found a large group of harbor porpoise in Boundary Pass, went to Skipjack Island where many harbor seals were hauled out including our favorite black matte “naked seal” and a juvenile bald eagle perched above them, to Monarch Head and Java Rocks where a harbor seal rested with a new pup, passed a bald eagle chick in its nest on Stuart Island and down around Turn Pt Lighthouse and Lovers Leap, found a bald eagle trying to catch a Canada goose swimming in the water, drifted in New Channel where we found a mother river otter and two pups. And much much more!
