September 9, 2020 – It was a beautiful day sailing in the San Juans. Tacked our way up the channel passing Low Island and weaved our way through the Wasp Islands. Sailed around the west side of Jones Island and up to one of our favorite National Wildlife Refuges, Flattop Island. Many harbor seals were hauled out and a bald eagle stood nearby her nest. As we passed Gull Rock we found more harbor seals tucked into the cove. We came back around the east side of Jones Island and back through the Wasp Islands before returning to Friday Harbor.
