August 21, 2026 – We sailed north through the maze of the Wasp Islands and around Jones Island State Park to meet Biggs/Transients T36A’s north of Jones Island. We sailed parallel as they traveled towards President Channel. Leaving them we came to Flattop Island National Wildlife Refuge and passed the Cactus Islands to meet more orcas, the T49A’s, who were hunting near Johns Pass. Slow travel and prey sharing as they rounded the bottom of Stuart Island. We left to come close to the north side of Spieden Island through New Channel seeing harbor seals, bald eagles, pigeon guillemots, belted kingfishers, Mouflon sheep and Sika deer.
