October 17, 2026 – Short sail with a visit to Turn Island State Park. Moderately strong winds and reefed sails. We found the sea otter at Turn Rock having a bite to eat. Many Bonaparte’s gulls around and active bait balls with Heermann’s gulls and common murres. We grabbed a mooring buoy at Turn Island and had a fun shore excursion with the kiddos on board.
