All Aboard Sailing

L122 is a boy!

The jagged outline of whale rocks enshrouded in the thick fog intensified the smells and sounds of Stellar Sea Lions. Somewhere off False Bay there were Orcas but they were invisible today. Breaking into blue sky we met Humpback whales off Battleship and then heard at tip over the radio and proceeded passed Speiden island to Presidents Channel. We met Js, Ks and Ls of the Southern Resident Killer Whales partying in the Indian summer sunset. If you come sailing with us beware – sometimes we don’t want to come home – tonight was one of those nights – A true Eden, a paradise not yet lost.
